130 years of sharing the art of the aperitif
There are moments that may seem small, but end up taking up a huge place in our memories.
A table that stretches on longer than expected. A conversation that starts with a “shall we have a drink?” and ends hours later. The sound of a tin being opened, some olives in the centre, a well-chilled vermouth or that touch of Espinaler Sauce that turns an aperitif into something truly our own.
Since 1896, Espinaler has been present in many of those moments.
Not just as a product on the table, but as part of a way of enjoying life that is passed down from generation to generation: getting together, sharing, talking and savouring the moment without looking at the clock.
The magic of always
Because the aperitif has never been just about what we eat or drink.
It is reconnecting, celebrating being together, spontaneously getting together on any Sunday or sitting on a terrace by the sea. It is that “stay a little longer” that turns an ordinary moment into a memory.
And perhaps that is where the true magic of the aperitif lies: in never knowing which moment will end up becoming one of our favourites.

Opening some preserves, preparing some olives, serving a vermouth, adding a few drops of Espinaler Sauce or sharing some crisps with everyone.
Small rituals that are repeated from generation to generation and remind us that, when it comes to a good aperitif, what matters is not only what is on the table, but who is sitting around it.
A Mediterranean way of enjoying life
Born in Vilassar de Mar, Espinaler grew up alongside the Mediterranean and with a very particular way of understanding life: enjoying without rushing, celebrating the everyday and turning a table into a place to come together.
That essence is still part of Espinaler today, in every preserve, every olive, every vermouth and every product that reaches a table with a very simple purpose: creating moments to share.
Because the Espinaler Experience is not only about what we put on the table. It is about everything that happens around it.
130 years of being part of our memories
Five generations later, homes, terraces, customs and ways of enjoying life have changed.
But some things remain: conversations that go on for hours, laughter, toasts, after-meal conversations and the desire to celebrate any little reason.
For 130 years, Espinaler has had the privilege of being there. At our grandparents’ tables, our parents’ tables and the ones we share today with our children, friends and loved ones.
Because time passes. Generations change.
But some magic remains: the magic of sitting around a table and enjoying being together.
130 years later, we are still sharing the art of the aperitif.
And we continue creating memories, one by one, table by table.
